CSconnected reports growth in the South Wales compound semiconductor cluster

CSconnected marked the conclusion of its five-year Strength in Places Fund programme in September 2026, restating the findings of its impact report on the South Wales compound semiconductor cluster.

CSconnected reports direct employment of 1,914 across the cluster, with 3,140 jobs supported in Wales in total. It puts Welsh gross value added at £436 million and annual sales at £531 million. The organisation also states an ambition to grow cluster revenue to £1 billion and to support 6,000 regional jobs by 2030.
