IQE, the Cardiff-headquartered compound semiconductor epiwafer supplier, published interim results for the first half of 2026 on 7 September.
The company reports year-on-year first-half revenue growth of more than 40 per cent, with revenue of £64.6 million against £45.3 million a year earlier, and says it remains confident of meeting its full-year guidance. IQE also announced an intention to seek admission to the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange, targeting the first half of 2027.
IQE attributes demand to AI data-centre infrastructure, advanced sensing, wireless and defence markets.
