Cammax Precima is a Colchester engineering company that designs and builds die-attach equipment for adhesive and eutectic bonding. Its manual and semi-automatic die bonders are used to place delicate devices, including gallium arsenide die, in integrated circuits, multi-chip modules, optoelectronic devices and sensors, and are sold internationally and to university research groups. It also runs a contract assembly service from a 100 square metre clean facility equipped with its own bonders, backed by bond-shear testing and inspection, for development, small-batch and production work.
