Diodes Incorporated's Oldham site (OFAB) in Greater Manchester is a 150mm wafer fab running discrete bipolar transistor, MOSFET, TVS and SBR processes, plus analogue IC processes, for the US-listed group. More than 200 manufacturing staff work there, including a process and technology development team, and the site also hosts European and corporate functions and a design centre. In 2025 Diodes qualified OFAB as an additional wafer source for selected discrete products. It is one of two Diodes wafer fabs in the UK, alongside Greenock.
