Company overview
INEX Microtechnology develops and manufactures compound semiconductor and MEMS devices for customers from its facility in Newcastle upon Tyne. It takes device technologies from concept through to repeatable series production, working in gallium nitride, silicon carbide, indium antimonide and other materials. The site has 400 square metres of class 1000 cleanroom for front-end processing and 150 square metres for back-end work, and offers lithography, plasma etching, CVD, metallisation, thermal processing, wafer bonding, dicing, packaging and test. It is ISO 9001 certified and serves defence, aerospace, communications, energy and e-mobility customers.
