SEH Europe is the European subsidiary of the Japanese Shin-Etsu Handotai (SEH) Group. From its manufacturing facility in Livingston, Scotland, the company produces 150mm and 200mm polished and epitaxial silicon wafers, which are substrates for semiconductor device fabrication. The Livingston site serves as the company's UK and European head office and also includes a sales office for Northern Europe. Additional sales offices in France and Germany support the group's sales across the continent. While the wider Shin-Etsu Group offers products including 300mm and Silicon-On-Insulator (SOI) wafers, the Scottish plant's stated focus is on 150mm and 200mm manufacturing.
