Wafer Technology operates as the substrate manufacturing division of IQE plc from its base in Milton Keynes. The company has extensive experience in crystal growth and wafer finishing, producing a wide portfolio of III-V materials. It manufactures single-crystal substrates including Gallium Arsenide (GaAs), Indium Phosphide (InP), Gallium Antimonide (GaSb), Indium Antimonide (InSb), and Indium Arsenide (InAs). The substrates are produced in diameters from 2 to 8 inches with epi-ready surfaces, supplied for both research and development and high-volume production.
