XMOS is a Bristol-headquartered fabless semiconductor company founded in 2005 with University of Bristol seed funding. Its XCORE processors are multicore devices with deterministic, parallel execution that let designers implement control, I/O, DSP and AI functions in software on one chip. They are widely used in USB and multichannel audio and voice interfaces, and the company is now targeting real-time edge and physical AI. It has offices in Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Taipei.
