Siemens Electronic Design Automation Ltd is the UK subsidiary of Siemens EDA, with its registered office at Pinehurst Road in Farnborough, Hampshire. Siemens EDA provides one of the industry's three major IC design and verification software portfolios, spanning high-level synthesis, place and route, RTL power optimisation, design-for-test, circuit simulation and physical-verification sign-off, alongside the Calibre, Catapult and Tessent product families. The UK subsidiary supports British and European customers of these tools, which are used by foundries, fabless companies and IDMs to design and verify integrated circuits from architecture through to manufacturing sign-off. The Farnborough-registered entity continues a British presence that traces back to Mentor Graphics' long-established UK operations before its acquisition by Siemens.
