Teratech Components is a spin-out from the UK’s STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. The company designs and manufactures millimetre and sub-millimetre wave components using its Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) Schottky diode technology. It operates a dedicated foundry with proprietary fabrication processes at its facility in the Harwell Campus, Oxfordshire. The company's diodes are designed for applications from 75 GHz to 1 THz and are key components in THz direct detectors, mixers, and frequency multipliers. Teratech's products serve markets including earth observation, defence and security, non-destructive testing, and scientific instrumentation. The company offers a range of standard diodes and can also develop custom designs to meet specific client requirements.
